Character avatars on this site use the Adventurer avatar style, created by Lisa Wischofsky, served via the DiceBear API. The Adventurer style is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). The DiceBear library itself is MIT licensed.


Board game data — BoardGameGeek

Game search and game data (titles, descriptions, player counts, images) are sourced from BoardGameGeek via their XML API. BoardGameGeek is the world's leading board game database and community. Roll for Company holds a commercial licence to use the BGG API and displays game data in accordance with that licence and the API Terms of Use.

Venue data — Google Places

Venue listings may include data and photos sourced from the Google Places API. Where Google-sourced photos are displayed, a “Powered by Google” attribution is shown alongside the photos. Use of the Google Places API is subject to Google Maps Platform Terms of Service.


Maps — OpenStreetMap & CARTO

Interactive maps use Leaflet (BSD 2-Clause licence) with map tiles provided by CARTO and OpenStreetMap contributors. OpenStreetMap data is available under the Open Data Commons Open Database Licence (ODbL). The © OpenStreetMap contributors attribution is displayed on every map on this site.


Open-source software

This platform is built with a number of open-source packages including Next.js, Supabase, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and Lucide. Full dependency information is available in the project's package.json. Each package is used under its respective open-source licence (MIT, Apache 2.0, or BSD).
